Alpaca Felted Hats
Our alpaca felted hats are very unique, stylish and individual. Does that fit the description of someone you know?We take a great deal of pride in the construction of these hats and they have been produced with ease of wear and travel in mind.
They are extremely light to wear and indeed one client tells us that she tried hers on, then became distracted with a phone call, which led to some work on her computer. Two hours later she suddenly realised she was still wearing her hat.
Even for their lightness, they are very warm, but because they are made from 100% alpaca with no other properties in their construction, they breath. So if you are one of those people who love hats but cannot wear them because your head becomes too hot, then we believe we have the answer to this problem.
Thick felted alpaca is also waterproof. Indeed the Yurts (tents) used by nomadic tribes are made from felt.
