The alpaca shoulder bag shapes are based on the traditional Peruvian 'cholas'. Many of our alpaca bags are hand made by felting then embellished with
Su Lenk's own art designs.
The handles, when using material other than alpaca are simple, elegant and non-obtrusive.
These alpaca handbags are very hard wearing and can even be hand washed. Bright new bag every time.
When using blends with the alpaca we use natural fibres such as: three shades of naturally coloured pima cotton, (the soil in which the cotton is grown high in the Andes, naturally produces these shades, so no dyes used at all) silk, or tencel which comes from the bark of trees, linen, bamboo and small amounts of merino.
